Małgorzata Uściłowska (born in 1988 in Wyszków), also known as Lanberry, is a Polish pop singer-songwriter from Warsaw. Her debut album, Lanberry, was released on 4th March 2016.



Lanberry was born in 1988 in Wyszków into a musical family. She attended the C.K. Norwida high school in Wyszków, before moving to Warsaw, where she studied linguistics.

Early CareerEdit

Lanberry's career began by uploading covers of songs to YouTube. In 2013, she participated in the Polish version of The Voice but did not pass the "blind audition" round. In 2014, she participated in the fourth series of X Factor Poland, but was eliminated at the judges' houses.

2015-16: Debut AlbumEdit

Lanberry's first single, "Podpalimy świat", was released on 10th September 2015, composed by Lanberry and Piotr Siejka. The song reached 19th on the Polish AirPlay charts, and was certified gold with over 10,000 sales. Her second single, "Każdy moment", was released in January 2016, peaking at 37th in the AirPlay chart.

On March 4th 2016, Lanberry's debut album was released on Universal Music Poland. It included a number of songs, including "Podpalimy świat" and "Każdy moment". In July her third single, "Bunt", was released, but did not chart.

On 5th August 2016, Lanberry released her next single, "Piątek", which was the most successful of her singles, charting at 7th in the AirPlay chart. In September, an English version of this song was released, titled "Only Human".

2017: Re-release and The Origin Song ContestEdit

On March 23rd 2017, Lanberry released her newest single, "Zagadka", which peaked at 27th in the Polish charts and was credited by people as her best release. In June 2017, a re-release of her album, titled Lanberry - Edycja Specjalna was released, including "Zagadka" and its English counterpart "How Do You Like Me Now".

On 27th May 2017, Lanberry's song "Zagadka" won the Polish national final for The Origin Song Contest 02, called Piosenka dla Finlandii. She was chosen to represent Poland at the contest in Espoo, Finland. To represent the country at the contest, a bilingual version was also produced.
