Magda Grabowska-Wacławek (born 1985 in Warsaw), also known as Bovska (sometimes stylised as BOVSKA), is a Polish singer-songwriter. Her debut album, Kaktus, was released on March 11 2016 under Warner Music Poland.


Bovska was born in 1985 in Warsaw. She graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

2016: Debut albumEdit

Bovska released her debut album, Kaktus, on 11th March 2016, under Warner Music Poland, selling out only two days after release. The album charted at 23rd on the Polish retail sales chart. The title track for the album, "Kaktus" was released earlier and was certified gold with over 10,000 sales. It peaked at 11th on the Radio UWM FM charts.

She was nominated for the 'best Polish performer' at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards.

2017: Second album and The Origin Song ContestEdit

On 31st March 2017, Bovska released her second album, PYSK. In addition, she was nominated for the Fryderyk award for 'new face of Fonography'.

On 6th September 2017, Bovska's song "Long Way" won the Polish national final for The Origin Song Contest 03, Piosenka dla Szwajcarii, winning the right to represent the nation in Bern, Switzerland.
